Admin Guide to Move a Content Box in RAKAN Team Portal

Overview

This guide provides administrators with step-by-step instructions on how to move a content box (also known as a Metabox) in RAKAN Team Portal. These boxes contain additional settings or options when editing posts and pages. By following these steps, you can customize your editing experience.

1. Accessing the RAKAN Team Portal Dashboard

Desktop:

1. Log in to your RAKAN Team Portal admin panel.
2. Navigate to the post or page where the section is located.

Mobile:

1. Open your browser and log in to RAKAN Team Portal.
2. Switch to Desktop Mode in your browser settings if the layout is simplified.
3. Navigate to the post or page where the section is located.

2. Locating the Section

1. Scroll down to find the section you want to move.
2. These sections may include options like:
   • Featured Image
   • Department SOPs 
   • SOPs Category
   • FAQs 

3. Moving the Section (Desktop)

1. Click and hold the title bar of the section (the area with its name).
2. Drag the section to a new position:
   • To move it higher or lower within the content editor.
   • To move it to the sidebar (if available).
3. Release the mouse button to place the section in the new location.

4. Moving the Section (Mobile)

1. Tap and hold the section title bar (the top area of the section).
2. Drag the section to its new position:
   • Move it higher or lower within the editor.
   • Move it to the sidebar (if available).
3. Release your finger to drop the section into place.
4. If dragging doesn’t work, try enabling Desktop Mode in your mobile browser and retry the steps.

5. Saving the Layout

• RAKAN Team Portal automatically saves the new section position.
• If necessary, click the Update button on the post/page to ensure the layout is retained.
